About Us
On the Design Boat is an Art & Design venture. We are present online as a Blog.
THE FOUNDERS
Nature greatly inspires Divya Agrawal who is an Artist and a Designer. So do cultures, patterns and places. An Architect by training, history and architecture have held a deep fascination for her.
With interests spanning geology, nature exploration, history, physics, mythology, origami and traditional crafts, textiles, techniques, Divya brings a unique trans-disciplinary perspective to OTDB. Mother to two very creative children, she has lived and worked in India, North America and now calls Mumbai home.
With a degree in architecture and a further specialization in product design, creativity and an interest in arts and crafts comes naturally to Hina Nitesh. Married to someone who is constantly on the move, the nomadic lifestyle gives her the opportunity to explore new places. A passionate writer, she has worked with two leading national design and architecture magazines. Presently, she is on journey of self discovery through On the design boat.
